Wednesday Wisdom

If you don’t like where you are in this stage in your life….

Then change it. You aren’t a tree. You are not stuck to one space.

I find when I get stuck on what to do next.. I just get up from where I am sitting, step outside and breathe some fresh air and it helps clear my head and refocus on the next task I am going to undertake.

So if you are pacing the floor, don’t know what to do, trying to find a new challenge….

Go for a walk, even if its to another room in the house. Turn on some music, jump around, dance!

The ideas will come. They are there in your head waiting to be grabbed hold of and brought to the light. Turn the dream into a goal, and send it forth for the world to see.

So what if some people don’t like it. I am sure there will be people out there who will.

Side note: Do not let anyone stand in your way. Do not let them hold you back.

You were born to shine!

So go shine on!!!!!!!

Motivational Monday… on Tuesday.

We all made it through the long weekend, and today is back to the grind.
Tuesday is our Monday this week.

This work week may be short, but I just want you to know, that any struggle you may face this week, or anytime, you can get through it. You will get through it.

To all the hard working parents, single or together. To all the people trying to make it day by day. Whatever your struggle is, this moment shall pass and you will be stronger because of it. You will get through this. Take some time for yourself. Just stop and take 5 mins, even if its locked in the bathroom. If you need to let the tears flow, let them. Everyone needs a good cry sometimes.

For me, it may be Tuesday morning, but I had a rough Friday night, with my show ending. I know it may seem trivial to a lot of people, but 7 years is a longtime to be attached to something and be part of something bigger than myself. So this morning, now that I’m alone with my thoughts. I have my hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon. I’m taking that moment to reflect on all the good that Adam and Eddy gave me and so many other people with the Once Upon A Time series. I’m glad I got to be part of something like that. It may not have been on the larger scale, but speaking with Adam Horowitz and some cast members in recent years was truly great. Being apart of that fandom and meeting so many great people in the process, making many new connections, has been so rewarding.

I guess, what I’m trying to say is, no matter how hard the goodbye was, there are so many positive aspects to it. If you are having a rough time, just step back and look for one positive aspect in your life. Something as simple as breathing. You are Alive and have so many chances to change your direction. You may not see it right now, but you will.

My wish for anyone who reads this, is that your week goes by smoothly and what ever challenges you face, may they be small, and may the sun shine for you.

Much love all ❤️ Have a great week.

“You are where you need to be, just take a deep breath.” quoted from Lana Parrilla.

What a time we had.

Once Upon a Time is an American fantasy drama television series that premiered on October 23, 2011, on ABC. The show follows various fairy-tale characters who were transported to the real world and robbed of their original memories by a powerful curse. The first six seasons were largely set in the fictitious seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, with Emma Swan as the lead character, while the seventh season takes place in a Seattle, Washington neighborhood called Hyperion Heights, with a new main narrative led by Swan’s son, an adult Henry Mills, and a new curse to break. It borrows elements and characters from the Disney franchise and popular Western literature, folklore, and fairy tales. Once Upon a Time was created by Lost and Tron: Legacy writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. For the first six seasons, the series aired on Sundays. On May 11, 2017, ABC renewed the series for a 22-episode seventh season, moving to Friday, which premiered on October 6, 2017.In February 2018, it was announced the seventh season would serve as the final season of the series.

Once Upon A Time finishes up on May 18th after a very successful 7 season run. It originally air on my birthday Oct. 23rd 2011, and I have yet to miss an episode, and like many other fans, have spent many hours binge watching through hiatuses to keep me going until a new episode would arrive. I would even have themed snacks to go along with an episode and it was once a girls night for me and friends to get together and hush over what would happen to our beloved characters next. To say I was heart broken when I heard that the series was cancelled, well that’s an understatement. I was saddened when most of the original cast left and they had a mini reboot, and got moved to Friday nights, but this is something to get used to. It still hasn’t sunk in that this won’t be my weekly retreat anymore. I miss Emma already, but being the Evil Regal(A name for fans of the Evil Queen) that I am, it’s going to be hard saying goodbye to Regina/Roni.

This show helped me through some of the lowest times in my life. I spent a whole month in hospital after my second son was born and binged watch this whenever I couldn’t keep my head up. That’s a story for another time though.

So, tomorrow night is the first of the 2 part series finale, and I like many others will have the tissue box handy as we say goodbye to one of the best shows of all time. We will remember the fond memories this show has brought to us all, and all of the hard work that the cast and crew put in for the past 7 seasons to bring us such a masterpiece every week. Where do we go from here though? It is going to be hard to find a new show to compare to what joy is brought me.

Much Love to all of you and have a beautiful Thursday.
